Labubu Takes Over San Francisco 🎉
Big news for all of us Labubu fans — Pop Mart has just opened a brand-new store right in the middle of San Francisco’s Union Square! If you’ve ever been around that area, you know it’s one of the busiest shopping spots in the city, and now it’s home to shelves full of our favorite mischievous little monster.
The store had a soft opening at 200 Powell Street in a gorgeous old Art Deco building from 1913. A grand opening is on the way, but fans are already lining up to get their hands on the latest Labubu blind boxes.
💡 Fun fact: some of the rare Labubu figures have been resold online for thousands of dollars. That’s how wild the hype has gotten.
And it’s not just about the dolls — in the first half of 2025 alone, Pop Mart’s Labubu line made about $675 million, which is almost 35% of the company’s revenue. Pretty crazy for a little grinning monster in a bunny suit, right?
So if you’re in San Francisco, this might be the perfect excuse to swing by Union Square, check out the new Pop Mart shop, and maybe test your luck with a blind box (who knows, you could score a rare one ✨).
Until then, we’ll be keeping an eye on the Labubu craze as it continues to grow around the world.
